The Occupational Safety and Health Center Region 6 congratulates the 28 newly safety officers who completed the 10-hr Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) training for safety officer 1 (SO1) dated January 27-28, 2022.
This training was graced by the presence and welcome remarks of the OIC-Chief of the Environment Control Division of the Occupational Safety and Health Center, Evelyn C. Tandayu.
This training was aimed to help employers, companies, organizations, most especially the micro and small enterprises (MSEs) to comply with the provisions as stated in DOLE's Department Order No. 198 Series of 2018: " Implementing Rules and Regulations of Republic Act No. 11058 Entitled" An Act Strengthening Compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Standards and Providing Penalties for Violations Thereof".
